Mission Statement: Encourage all students to pursue a post secondary education by using concrete steps to obtain ACT/SAT, FAFSA and post secondary applications.

Goal: For 100% of our students to apply and be accepted to a post secondary school.

We will achieve these goals by:

1. Use volunteers to provide individual counseling for ACT/SAT, FAFSA and filing applications to post secondary schools.
2. Raising funds to provide for ACT fees and application fees.

Plan of Action:

1. Raise public awareness about the importance of Beyond Graduation to our community.
2. Obtain parental involvement beginning in 8th grade by showing the successful case studies of past participants, example: GPA, Expected Family Contribution (EFC), the Financial Aid statement and scholarship offer.
3. Use our computer lab to help students and parents apply for ACT testing and FAFSA applications. Our students are computer savvy and can aid their parents in completing the applications online with guidance.
4. Begin process in January of the Junior year and September in the Senior year. FAFSA forecasting is available for Juniors.
5. Raise funds to pay fees and use ACT grants for all first time ACT testing in Senior year. Pay fees for second ACT testing in Senior year on a by need basis. Pay post secondary application fees by need basis using the EFC generated from the FAFSA application.
